“Trophy” at the Dublin Fringe Festival: TxD 2017

Date: 6 September, 2017

We’re looking forward to the Dublin Fringe Festival, which will take place from September 9th to 24th! We have once again partnered with Sun Life Financial Canada to organize TxD, our performance exchange program between the Dublin Fringe and the Toronto SummerWorks Festival. This year, we are delighted to present Canadian production Trophy at the Dublin Fringe, which will be on display in Barnardo Square from September 9th to 11th. We invite you to view the trailer here.

Trophy is a collection of storytelling performances told by different artists. Tents will be assembled in Barnardo Square and audience members can wander into each one for a unique experience. Inside each tent is a person telling the true story of a moment in their life when everything changed. Described as a “living installation” and a “pop-up tent city,” Trophy is a compelling conversation about how people experience change. Tickets are available here.

TxD 2017 marks the second year of our artistic exchange program. Last year, the Irish and Canadian performances garnered many positive reviews, and this year’s Irish production, Reassembled, Slightly Askew, at the 2017 SummerWorks Festival had a sold-out run and received top reviews from Toronto Life, Torontoist, and NOW Magazine.
