IPF Young Professionals wrap up the summer

Date: 14 September, 2017

Last Friday, September 8th, the IPF Young Professionals group hosted their Summer Wrap party. IPF Young Professionals is a group of young people in Toronto interested in Ireland Park Foundation’s mission, values, and projects. Events such as this one and our St. Patrick’s Day events allow young professionals to learn more about Ireland Park Foundation and the people behind it while building networks and enjoying Canadian-Irish culture. They also function as modest fundraisers. After two successful St. Patrick’s Day events, the IPF Young Professionals Committee decided to create a second annual event to keep young people interested throughout the year.

The first summer event last week brought young professionals together for an evening of live music and conversation on a rooftop patio. The event was a success and we look forward to hosting it again next year!

Many thanks to the IPF Young Professionals Committee and, in particular, Tat Winnington, John Stoneman, Vanessa Niedzielski and elle cuisine for providing the food, Ace Hill Beer, Steam Whistle Brewing, Junaid the DJ, and musicians Pat Simmonds and Jon Pilatzke.

The IPF Young Professionals Committee is led by Tat Winnington and John Stoneman. Members are David Clarke, Vanessa Niedzielski, Adam Diamond, Shawn Ogborne, Samantha Madigan, Michael Barton, Mick Higgins, Manus McGuire, Steven Cooney, Joshua Dyer, Petra Toole, Ruthie Dowling, Nina Reiss, William Peat, and Niamh Curran.
