Ireland Park Foundation was delighted to present to the Toronto Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society- Ireland Special Interest Group at their meeting on Tuesday, March 12th. Presenter Robert G. Kearns, IPF’s Chair & Founder, shared details of the Famine migration to Toronto in the 19th century and some of IPF’s recent findings of the migration of Irish out of Toronto in the 1840s and 1850s.
We were thrilled to meet and engage with the members of this group and to hear some findings from their own research into the Irish migration to Toronto.
Thank you to all of the members for welcoming us to their meeting. We look forward to working with them in the future.
