Canada 150 Exhibit, “The Irish Diaspora in Canada: A History”

“The Irish Diaspora in Canada: A History, exhibit on Friday, October 27th to Sunday, October 29th, Victoria College, Alumni Hall, University of Toronto, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

“The Irish Diaspora in Canada: A History” exhibit focuses on how the diaspora influenced the complex and intrinsic relationship between Canada and Ireland. The mass migration of this period initiated major changes to both mid-19th century Canadian and Irish culture. These shifts are explored through visual displays and videos in this exhibit. “The Irish Diaspora in Canada: A History” was first displayed in August at the International Pavilion in Ottawa, and will now be hosted by Ireland Park Foundation in Toronto. “The Irish Diaspora in Canada: A History” exhibit focuses on how the diaspora influenced the complex and intrinsic relationship between Canada and Ireland.
